Do you know how to cut a cake?
There is no wrong way of eating cake, but as for cutting it, it all depends on how you cut it.
It turns out that is you are one of those people that cut their cake in triangular slices; you are doing it wrong already. You are cutting it wrong if you cut it like the illustration in the gif below.
Sir Francis Galton first described the innovative method in Nature in 1906.
For all my life, I am totally convinced that I have been doing this wrong. When you cut a triangular piece of cake and don’t finish the rest, you dry out the cake very quickly.
Make the first cut straight down the middle
Then bring the cake back together
If you need to cut more pieces
Now you can have your cake and eat it too.
